2012 Official Rules & Regulations
This year’s program begins on Sunday, July 1, 2012 and will end on Friday, August 31, 2012. Customers must present receipts to Guest Services from any store or restaurant or entertainment venue at Puente Hills Mall. Qualifying receipts MUST BE FROM a retailer at Puente Hills Mall on purchases made during the program period ONLY, and must be turned in by 6 p.m. on Sunday of the week of your purchase.
Receipts from Sunday 7/1 through Sunday 7/8 must be turned in by 6 p.m. on Sunday 7/8. Remaining weeks will be considered Monday - Sunday.
Any local public or private K-12, elementary, middle, or high school is eligible to participate. Pre-Schools, colleges and other post-high school institutions are not eligible.
Purchases made at select stores, even if not turned in that day, count as double points during the promotion. Purchases made on Monday or Tuesday count as double points. Mall gift card purchases count as triple points during the promotion.
Following Puente Hills Mall on Facebook or Twitter can earn 10 points per social media site for your school and two entries into the weekly drawing. Shoppers may submit one Facebook and one Twitter printout showing your name and that you follow Puente Hills Mall; All other information can be crossed out. The customer must present a valid state issued ID at the time of submission to verify name. Pages will be kept as property of Puente Hills Mall to ensure single social media submission. At the completion of the program, all pages will be destroyed. Printouts will receive points and entries only for the week they were submitted.
Receipts may only be used one time and will be marked when presented to the mall's Guest Services. The receipt must be the original. Duplicate receipts, photo copies, faxes and internet orders will not be accepted.
Credit Card payments, even if made to a store at the mall, will not be accepted for points.
Store employees may not request, or copy, receipts from store customers in order to redeem them for points. Additionally, stores (or store employees) may not hold receipts to give to schools to redeem for points. Solicitation of stores by schools to hold receipts for such schools is prohibited.
Each dollar spent equals 1 point. Any less than $.50 will be rounded down to the nearest dollar, and anything equal to or greater than $.50 will be rounded up to the nearest dollar (Ex. $10.45 = 10 points and $10.56 = 11 points).
The highest points per student ratio will determine the winning schools. The total number of points for each school is divided by the number of students enrolled in the school, and all schools regardless of size will start with a minimum student enrollment of 400. Enrollment numbers will be provided by the schools.
The in – mall signage will be updated weekly with the leading schools according to points only, point per student ratio will not be calculated until the final week and will not be posted in the mall.
At the end of the promotion the top schools with the highest points per student ratio will win cash prizes.
1st Place: $5,000
2nd Place: $2,500
3rd Place: $1,500
4th Place: $1,000
No purchase is required to enter the drawing for the weekly gift card. To enter without a purchase, hand print your school, first/last name, street address, city, state, zip code, and telephone number including area coade on a 3"x5" card. Mail in a hand addressed envelope to:

Limit one (1) entry per envelope. Mailed entries will be submitted for the drawing in thw eek that they are received. In order to participate in the last drawing, entries must be postmarked by August 20, 2012. There is no limit to the number of times you can enter to win, regardless of the entry method. Individual winners will be contacted within five (5) business day sof the drawing by phone, email, and/or USPS mail.
Puente Hills Mall Management Office will make the final decision regarding any dispute.
Puente Hills Mall reserves the right to refuse suspicious or fraudulent receipts, or any receipt transactions breaking the above rules.
Puente Hills Mall reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without notice.
